Gamma Radiation Detector BD-02 (for PM1402M)
A portable multipurpose radiation laboratory PM1402M consists of a processing unit and five external exchangeable radiation detectors. PM1402M can be used for detection and measurement of alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation and gamma spectrum accumulation.
Gamma Radiation Detector BD-02 is based on CsI(Tl) detector and designed for accumulation, storage and transmission of scintillation gamma-spectra to PC, search of photon radiation sources, measurement of DER of collimated photon radiation.
Operation Principle
Gamma Radiation Detector BD-02 is based on CsI(Tl) detector and designed for accumulation, storage and transmission of scintillation gamma-spectra to PC, search for photon radiation sources, measurement of DER of collimated photon radiation.
BD-02 is similar to the detector BD-01 in design, but differs in size of the CsI(Tl) crystal (10 x 10 x 10 mm) and by the setting parameters of the amplifier-shaper.
BD-02 enables the following functions:
Accumulation, storage and transmission of scintillation gamma-spectra to PC
Search of photon radiation sources
Measurement of the DER of collimated photon radiation
