Gamma Radiation Detector BD-03 (for PM1402M)
A portable multipurpose radiation laboratory PM1402M is consists of a processing unit and five external exchangeable radiation detectors. PM1402M can be used for detection and measurement of alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation and gamma spectrum accumulation.
Gamma Radiation Detector BD-03 is based on GM-counter and designed for measurement of ambient equivalent dose rate of X-ray and gamma radiation.
Operation Principle
Gamma Radiation Detector BD-03 is equipped with Geiger-Mueller counter and enables measurement of ambient equivalent dose rate of X-ray and gamma radiation.

Dosimeters perform monitoring and measurement of dose equivalent and dose equivalent rate in the wide energy range – from 1 mSv/h up to 5.00 Sv/h (for PM1603A) and from 1 mSv/h up to 10.0 Sv/h (for PM1603B). Instruments have two thresholds in DER and DE ranges and non-volatile memory for data storage. Hermetic, water-resistant and shockproof case and the fluorescent backlight on LCD screen allow to use instruments in harsh and extreme conditions.
PM1603A and PM1603B dosimeters are recommended for emergency services, customs and border patrol, radiological and radioisotope laboratories, medical professionals, personnel of nuclear facilities, civil defense, firefighters and police.

Instruments are stable to dose up to 300 Sv, have two thresholds in DER and DE ranges, have non volatile memory for data storage. Spectroscopic Radiation Monitor PM1403 is designed for measurement of DER of gamma radiation, searching for radioactive sources, registration and accumulation of scintillation spectra and radionuclide identification. External smart probes and built-in Csl(TI) detector make PM1403 a powerful tool for detection and localization of gamma, neutron, alpha and beta radiation sources. Instrument has built-in GPS/GLONASS, GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth® 2.0. modules for data exchange. Non-volatile memory enables saving accumulated scintillation spectra.
Instrument is recommended to first responders, customs and border patrol, police, emergency teams, law enforcement, hazmat teams, security guards.
